Grace Youth
Grace Youth Lead
Hello, My name is Sarah Shea and I am the children and youth director here at Grace Episcopal Church.
I believe that a person’s faith is cultivated in community and it is my goal to help create spaces for students to build meaningful relationships through learning, serving, and having fun together. I strive for students to be heard and valued in all they do. Grace Youth is a safe space for students to be themselves and ask the tough questions.

Pray. Lead. Learn.
Youth are integrated into all areas of church life; vital members of the extended family that is Grace. They serve as acolytes and readers in worship and in outreach ministries. They come together for formation and preparation for Confirmation. They have fun going to movies, ski trips, overnights, and other events (see below.) Youth at Grace are more than a youth group, they are members of an inter-generational community praying, leading, and learning through various phases of life.
Grace Youth FAQs
Grace Youth offers a variety of events for kids as young as 6th grade up until they are a senior in High School.
The easiest way to find out what is happening in the youth ministries of Grace Church is to contact Sarah Shea, Children and Youth Director, via email. At any given time there may be a laser tag, a bible study, or an overnight event happening!
Grace youth ministries strive to cultivate community through learning, serving, and having fun together. It is a safe space for you to be yourself and ask tough questions. At any given event you can expect to have fun, be heard, and build relationships with leaders and peers.
Anyone aged third grade and up is welcome to join this wonderful ministry. Acolytes serve as leaders in our Sunday morning services, supporting the clergy and carrying the important symbols of our prayer: the cross, the gospel, and the light. Kids, youth and adults serve together on teams of four to six. You can get involved by contacting Sarah Shea.
