Prayer Chain
Waking or sleeping, each of us experiences times when we need to "pray without ceasing". Such times are appropriate to call the church and ask to have the prayer chain started. The Pastoral Care Commission has created a phone relay system which notifies members of the Prayer Chain of urgent prayer requests.
A request for constant prayer is given to the rector who alerts the first person on each of two prayer chains. When each chain member makes a connection to the next chain member, the church office is notified, so that the chain stays complete.
Prayers are offered on behalf of the person who has made the request. Thurs, twelve people are praying throughout the day and night providing a circle of comfort to someone in need.
