Outreach

Grace Church's outreach is to the "community" in the broadest sense: not the Holland community alone, but - as ripples widen out in a pond - to our neighbors throughout Western Michigan .... throughout the nation.... throughout the world.

Grace Church owns this Mission Statement:
As a communion of Christ's followers,
worshiping in the Anglican tradition,
we strive to

Know Him, Proclaim His good news, and Serve the world in His name.

The last two of these aims constitute "outreach". And as we see it, serving the world - especially those in it whose life is riddled with bad news - is one way to proclaim the good news of the Gospel.

Grace Church's outreach takes many forms: the Grace Christian Child Care Center (GCCCC), work with Habitat for Humanity and the Community Housing Project, Financial Support at the parish, neighborhood, local, state, national and global levels, providing meeting space for local organizations, and many volunteer opportunities.
