Holy Week & Easter Schedule 2016
Palm Sunday (March 20) 8:15 AM & 10:00 AM
The early service begins in the sanctuary with the story of the triumphal entry. We hear the story of the trial and crucifixion and share in the Eucharist. At the second service we begin in the side yard with shouts of “Hosanna in this Highest!” We waive palms and process around the block to enter into the church. The service moves from Hosanna! to the story of the crucifixion. We share in the Holy Eucharist as we pray on the mystery of these holy days.
Maundy Thursday (March 24) 6:00 PM
Join us for an Agape meal, a Foot Washing, and Holy Eucharist as we remember the Last Supper. We close with a stripping of the altar in preparation for Good Friday. Please bring bread, wine, or fruit for the meal if you are able and let us know via a signup sheet in the Commons what you plan to bring.
Good Friday (March 25) 7:00 PM

Easter Vigil (Saturday, March 26) 9:00 PM
Gather with us at sundown in the Churchyard as we kindle a fire in the darkness and process in to listen to the Biblical story of God’s saving actions. At the news of Christ’s resurrection, we shout “Alleluia!”, ring bells, sing praises, and celebrate Holy Eucharist. (Bring your bells!) A celebratory dessert feast will follow this service. Sign up in the Commons to bring desserts!
Easter Morning (Sunday, March 27) 10:00 AM
We gather with the good news of Christ’s resurrection, to sing our “Alleluias!” and to celebrate Holy Eucharist with Baptisms.
