Our Mission statement:
As a community of Christ's followers,
worshiping in the Anglican tradition, we strive to
know Him, proclaim His good news, and serve the world in His name.
Who we are
We are a diverse group of people who come to worship God. We believe that God is in our midst loving us, treating us like family, guiding us with the good news of Christ, forgiving our shortcomings, and encouraging and enabling us to do better than perhaps we think we can.
Our background
We are part of the three-million member Episcopal Church in the United States. This, in turn, is part of the world-wide Anglican Communion of Churches with its more than 70 million members. Our roots go back to New Testament times and the beginning of the church in England in the 3rd Century. We see ourselves as a balance between Catholic and Protestant traditions.
More information about the Episcopalian church is available at the National Visitor's Center.
