Grace Episcopal Church is a diverse community of about 450 people who come together to give thanks and praise to God while caring for one another and serving the world beyond our doors. At Grace we are committed to receiving all who come and actively reaching out to those who could be fed by the liturgy, the learning, and the love that happens here. We are both ancient and new, shaped by over two-thousand years of tradition while remaining intentionally open to the Spirit’s gifts that are today’s.
Grace is in the Episcopal Diocese of Western Michigan and we belong to the two-million member Episcopal Church in the United States. This, in turn, is part of the world-wide Anglican Communion of Churches with its more than 70 million members. Our roots go back to New Testament times and the beginning of the church in England in the 3rd Century. We see ourselves as a ‘via media’ or ‘middle way’ between Catholic and Protestant traditions.
